Why does my surface pro 3 crash during powering up?

Hey, I can't seem to figure out why my surface pro 3 won't start. I originally thought it just wasn't trying to boot up at all, but when I connected my usb mouse to it, the mouse recieves power for about a second before it crashes again. I've also seen that with a charger plugged in. the charger light flashes when I attempt to turn it on before the surface crashes. When I hold the power button and the volume up button, it repeatedly tried to power up and crash. Can anybody help me with this problem?
