Why can't I connect to the internet when I'm abroad?
Hi, every time I go abroad and try to connect to the 3/4G networks, it doesn't work. My system is up to date, the roaming is activated and my phone didn't come with a sim card so I don't get why it's not working. My mother has the moto2gen, the same type of simcard as I do and for her it works. When I put her sim card in my phone it doesn't anymore. Does someone else has this problem? Or does someone know how to solve this?

Bit confused by what you are saying.
You say that your mother's phone works OK overseas. Then you say that when you put her SIM card in your phone "it doesn't anymore". To me you are saying her phone doesn't work anymore after putting her SIM card in your phone. This is normal. It won't work because there is no SIM card installed in her phone.
Did you mean to say that when you put your SIM card in her phone that her phone then doesn't work overseas?
Not sure if this is applicable to your situation or not.
Do you need to have "international" roaming activated on your service by your mobile phone service provider?
Also is your phone unlocked?
