Notification Settings for Text Conversations
Is there a way to keep a notification sound for an incoming text, but have the phone smart enough to know that if it turns into a back and forth conversation that I don't need a notification sound every time?
It's frustrating having it beeping at me as I'm actively typing back and forth, but I don't have my phone on me all the time so it's nice on that first receipt.

What messaging app do you use with the default messaging app i believe it will not notify you when you are in the app. if it is a third party app I don't think there is anything you can do
