Brake light switch circuit
My 89 Chevy S10 pickup trucks brake warning lamp is flashing ten times I did the jumping of the terminals and got the same thing it is the brake light switch circuit what things should I try to replace to fix this problem

Check your ABS if you have one, the box might unhook. Q Are the brakes working fine?
And the wheel speed sensor is one problem i see everywhere, ABS is important too. Tell me what you find.
Try this; First with the truck off and in park on a level ground release the ebrake and turn the key to run does the light come on for two seconds then remail light? Start the truck up is the light still on? If not then the ebrake switch may be bad. Check out a post here if you havent : https://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Discussion...

The light only comes on when the truck is started
Only on a start-off? Or when the ABS is active, too?
When it is active to
Try replace your ebrake since thats the answer you need, ABS seems fine check back on it later.
