My camera turns off...please help

Hi, i have this nikon p500 since a while its been all good but recently I got some problems, whenever I take a picture it turns off, not completely the yellow light are still on but the problem it does not do anything, I need to turn it off completely by pressing on off and then turn it on? why I tried everything? reset it just doesn't seem to work, please help me....
