Touchid is not responding or scanning no errors or failed it just doesn't scan. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ( I did forget to unplug the battery before screen swapping but i did have the device off).

FIXED!! i had to replace the heat dispenser plate from my original phone to the new screen and it worked!

if you replace the original home-button it will not work, you may want to also make sure the back-plate with it will also be on it as well. you need the original home-button and back-plate

Im swapping my original heat plate right now to hopefully fix it i do have the original home button will update soon.
You actually don't need the original back plate but obviously need original home flex.
