HTC One M8 top speaker
Hi guys. Is there any other reason besides faulty top ear piece speaker, that there is no sound from the top speaker ? I did screen replacement with the full screen housing and I transferred old earpiece from the old housing and there is no sound, obviously I ordered new earpiece to fix this but I'm just wondering if there is possibility that I damaged something else that new earpiece might not work as well ? Thanks
You sure you didn't just accidentally installed the earpiece speaker upside down?
When transferring the old earpiece speaker from the old housing, did the part separate to the point where the coil was exposed in the earpiece speaker?

I mean, I'm still waiting for the new speaker. And no I din't put the old speaker upside down, the contacts were touching the daughter board the right way and the piece didn't look much damaged, the coil wasn't exposed.
