Indicator light on charger not lighting up
When I plug my Freeway into the charger, the light on the charger will not come on. I know the outlet has power to it because I plugged in my phone and it worked fine.

Incandescent lights don't last long but light emitting diodes generally do! and since led's are indicators they are usually connected across the psu or charger including a current limiting resistor that should (not infallible ) last for a long time.
The absence of the led indicator does not mean the charger is faulty as you have already said it is working otherwise.
