Why is my laptop overheating?

There is a vent at the bottom of the laptop. If there is something blocking the airflow out of the vent then that can cause the laptop to overheat and the fan to become loud. Place the laptop on a hard surface when in use, in order to prevent anything from blocking the vent. Continuing to charge the laptop once it is at 100% could also cause it to overheat and cause the fan to become louder, so try not overcharging the laptop.
