How do I change date?
My iPod died. Recharged it and when it turned on the date is at Jan 1970. I obviously have never had it that long. It is maybe 6 years old. Can't seem to get it back to curret date

That date is the default if the iPod loses complete power. You can manually change the date/time by going to Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Date & Time.
If your iPod is six years old, you may want to consider replacing the battery, as it likely doesn't hold as much of a charge as it used to.
