Why is troy bilt spray oil from air fliter

There is a breather pipe into the air filter and because of this, you will always get some oil into the filter. What I have found to be the problem on the ones I worked on was too much oil in the engine. It is only supposed to be filled to the line on the sight glass.

Check the oil level.
