iPad 4 screen gone darkish with slow refresh

Hi all. Had iPad dropped and screen went dead, still talked with mac. Followed method to check LCD cable and after removing and reconnecting iPad worked well for another 4 days. Now screen has gone darkish, still seeing image and touch works well. Screen image refresh rate is very slow making most videos and apps difficult to see. Also a very visible difference in brightness with a line on top and bottom 2cm of screen.

Has anyone experienced this fault and have a possible fix?

The answer is most likely a filter that got damaged in the drop. How are you at micro soldering?

Hi Josh, soldering yes, micro soldering not done but I'll give it a go. Thought with a possible damaged filter the LCD either worked or didn't. Ive got a working LCD just a poor refresh rate and poor image.
