I replaced my battery and when I first put it back together it turned on, but all I saw were white lines running through the screen. I took it apart again and rechecked all the connections. I put it back together and now it won't do anything. What can I do or check?

Does itunes recognize the phone ? Is it possible that you may have shorted the battery while installing it .Did you get the screws back in the right holes ? Some screws are longer than others and if you put them in the wrong spot you can short the phone. they end up going through the board and touch the case. Guide may help

are you sure you didn't disconnect any other connections or placed the iPhone near any magnetic item it should of been a straigh straight forward battery fix you didn't damage the battery connector
