one blink on a PlayStation 3 controller and not syncing

I tried syncing my PlayStation 3 controller and nothing happens it is getting one blink and then turns off sometimes it gets 3 blink I tried using the restart button in the back of the controller and then nothing happens I also tried taking it apart and then use the restart button again and then still nothing happens it still gives me one blink again and then shuts off I tried everything I can think of please help!!!!!
