Is there a fuse in this tablet, if so where is it?

Is there a fuse in this tablet, if so where is it? I replaced the cracked touch screen according to the video. I did not disconnect the battery. The new screen looked good but did not respond to touch. It would not unlock.

I reset tablet with reset button and power along with volume buttons. No change.

I disconnected cables and discharged by rubbing fingers across connectors. Still no change.

I disconnected battery for a few minutes, reconnected and still no change.

I read somewhere that shorting across the fuse fixed this problem. I do not know where the fuse is. Can someone help me find the fuse. Thanks, Larry.
