How to fix the gyroscope sensor after water damage

A couple of weeks ago, i got some water to my phone, and some parts were not working correctly. after drying it without rice or any other product, everything seemed to work fine. The only thing is, that my phone is not able to rotate the screen by the gyroscope sensor. Can someone tell me if the Sensor is connected to the board or if a change is maybe possible. I never opened the phone, so maybe its not too hard to fix.
