Does it still display right now and touch screen is working? If not then the screen needs to be replaced as the front display assembly cable(s) is almost certainly cut / damaged.
You can either try and glue the screen back together with a strip of adhesive or you'll have to replace the entire display assembly. Gluing it back is a temporary fix and won't look neat.
