Many of these new tablet chargers have AI (Artificial Intelligent) which tells the tablet how many times to charger the battery and information has to be identical from the tablet and logic board on the battery. Most of the times improper battery charge can confuse the information and the tablet becomes stuck or halted. The tablet then assumes it is dead and will not turn or charge.
Step 1.You need to plug your unit into the wall then wait for it to show the battery symbol. Some times it takes 30 minute to an hour to show (depending how low the battery is).
Step 2.If that does not work your next step is to clean the plug from the power adapter connection and the tablet connection with alcohol. Get a cotton swab and dip it in alcohol and rub it gently on each connection. Make sure the alcohol in the connection of both tablet and adapter to where it looks covered in it. You can then air can spray it or let it dry on its own (better to use air spray). Once that is done – do what I mention in the beginning of this instruction (step)1.
Step 3.If that does not work you will need to open the tablet with the tool you can purchase on Fix It or on Ebay and remove or unsolder the red and black wire of the battery and leave it off for 5 minutes. Then connect it by soldering it back and do the same as mention in the beginning on step 1. Some may have plug
type battery so unplug it.
Step 4.If that does not work you will need to test it if possible - your power adapter on another tablet that has the same voltage and amps. It may be a bad power supply. If it is bad power well it is time to replace it with a new one. Remember when plugging your power supply to the tablet - you place it on a flat table and make sure that the wire is not bent down and it is at lease 4 inches away from the tablet. Wires on many of these power supplies can be broken just like when you take a peace of metal and bend it up and down it will snap.
Step 5.If that doe not work you will need to remove the battery and test it using a volt meter and set it to DC volts and check for 4.0 to 4.15 volts. If the voltage is lower then that - you will need to first drain it. You can drain the battery by connecting it to some other device that uses 3 to 4 volts a like flash light that uses two batteries and equals 3 volts or 4. You will need two wire it with alligator clips and wire must be Black and other Red. Connect each wire to its perspective (Plus + to plus and Negative – to negative). Then turn on the flash light the light and it should be on if not check the wires you have connected for the light on or other device that can drain the battery. Leave it until the battery is drain. Once it is drain you can now connect the battery back to the tablet and plug your charger to see if it ok. Note: Batteries on tablet have AI’s which checks for voltage and amps going to the battery. It has to sync with the tablet mother board. I have done many time disconnected the battery from the board and check the battery to found voltage to be good on the battery but the board is shorted or none responsive.
Step 6.If that does not work then it will need it a new battery due to the fact that the board on that battery is damage and cannot sync with tablet information.
