Replacement top screen very dim.

I replaced my top screen, and it turns on, but it's very dim. Also, the 3d doesn't work, the image doubles but the diffraction grating doesn't turn on. And finally, the bottom screen is too bright, as if it's getting all the brightness from the top screen. Is the replacement bad or did I do something wrong?
