Loss of network after sometime when switched on

i switch on my Huawei ascend P7 and it boots successfully and recognizes the sim card but after sometime the network bars go off and it shows No Service. The network keeps coming on and off. Tried factory reset and manual update of firmware from 4.4.2 to 4.4.4 and then to 5.1.1 but the problem persisted.
