Note 4 from Verizon stocks in a boot loop

Hello!

I have a SM-N910V to fix a boot loop. I made a Odin flash with the last firmware and previous firmwares but when flashing ends it reboot and it stocks in a boot loop on Galaxy Note 4 logo and the upper left side of the screen shows a blue "recovery booting" and vibrate.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Thank you

So it won't allow you to boot recovery mode even after a firmware flash? I'm puzzled. Try having the phone off then hold the Power + Volume Up and Home button until you get the blue 'Recovery Booting' text and wait for it to boot recovery. Should take around 10-20 seconds.

Then you will have to do a wipe data / factory reset most likely in order to fix this boot loop issue. Make sure you are running latest firmware and not previous ones as this can cause issues if using too old of firmware.

So, try the reset sequence when the phone is plugged in. After reading the last comment about the battery issue I thought maybe my battery was just messed up. Turns out I was right. I was able to reset and reboot while plugged in. I'll grab a new battery tomorrow…

I solved this problem by replacing the “no name equivalent” battery I was using with a SAMSUNG battery. The no name battery measured 4.3 volts…..it’s supposed to be 3.8 volts.
