My laptop is taking very long to load. It is stuck on the loading screen saying that it is repairing disk errors. It says that it would take at least over an hour. But it has been on this screen for a whole night. What is wrong with it?

Try reseating the hard drive. If you've dropped the computer, waved it near strong magnets, or otherwise done something to damage the hard drive, there's a chance that the drive is dying or dead, or that the data on the drive is corrupt. This may warrant a new OS install. Do you hear any strange clicking noises coming from the drive? Is the drive spinning at all?

I don't hear any clicking or a disk spinning.
Well, if the disk isn't spinning, it's a dead drive. It may be barely audible. When did you get the computer? Was it moved on a regular basis (e.g. in a backpack every day, every other day)?
I kept it at home. And it is used. I got it around 2 months ago. The disk is spinning. I just wasn't listening good enough.
Do you have an external USB to SATA interface and another computer?
I have another laptop. As for the USB, I'll need to buy one soon.
