Sony's PlayStation TV entertainment system released in October 2014, model number VTE-1001. It allowed you to play PlayStation Vita games on a TV, as well as stream PlayStation 4 games on a different TV connected through the same internet.
This is another common issue with the Playstation TV. Most of the time it requires a system update to download new games and to save a game. Also, it could be an issue with the vita card located in the side of the device.
