Can I use charger of other ASUS laptop with my own ASUS

My ASUS is X550LB. Its adapter has the ff. specs:

INPUT: 100-240V ~ 50-60Hz, 1.5A

OUTPUT: +19V, 3.42A

Since mine was broken, I want to borrow the adapter of my brother's ASUS K56CB laptop with specs of:

INPUT: 100-240V ~ 50-60Hz, 2.0A

OUTPUT: +19V, 3.42A

Is it okay? It seems that their only difference is the input ampere. I'm not quite sure. Need help. Thanks!

Hi,

As long as the adapter's output connector fits into your PC power socket properly, there should be no problem as both adapters are supplying the same output voltage and current.
