Why won't my computer turn on?

My mac book air won't turn back on.. It was on one second working fine, I closed it to carry it to my room, opened it and it wouldn't turn on. I've tried resetting all the different things such as the SMC and nothing happens. However, the light on the MagSafe charge does change colors. When I plug in the charger it lights up as if it's working and charging. I'm not sure what the issue could be. At one point I did get it to turn on, but the cursor wouldn't move so I tried to reset it resulting in me permanently not being able to turn it on.. Thanks.

When you press the power do you get a chiming sound? Or is it just not turning on at all

I've already had 2 MBA 2013/2014 for repair with the same symptoms like yours.

The issue was some corrosion on the other side of the motherboard, both of them never had liquid spill on them.

You have a guide on removing the logic board ( MacBook Air 13" Early 2014 Logic Board Replacement) but be careful because this is a little bit difficult to do.

The risk here is that even if you clean the corrosion of the traces could be very badly damaged so you have to do a micro soldering job (requires some knowledge and equipment )
