Battery won't charge(although tablet shows it is)

I've tried charging with the USB port & original docking station. I've charged the battery externally for a couple hours, tablet works fine but battery drains quickly. I've changed both the USB port & battery so I'm lost for options...

Hi Graeme

I have the same problem with iPhone 5C and someone told me that I need to replace the U2 IC chip on the logic board. You can do some research if that maybe in your case too.
