compact flash upgrade fail

I have iPod video 5th gen the 5th not 5.5th I installed a Lexar pro 400x 128gb udma7 it restores just find. But when it boots back its also find but when I connected to the pc it freezes up so does iTunes. Before I got zif adapter the same one you all promote here and the flash card I did see if it was compatible with my pod.
