it keeps turning off and on by itself

Its been doing this since my mom put in the closet....it'll keep turning off and on by itself and I have to turn it on by the controller when I want to turn it on. Also the eject disc button doesn't work properly.

You need to replace the ribbon behind the face plate also check you connections
