buttons not responding in game

I got my vita a little wet the other day and let it out to dry. last night i was able to play games perfectly but this morning i am not able to use the buttons in games. When i press home it keeps doing a screen shot (home+start button) so i am guessing that my start button is stuck in the pressed position. 'im guessing since the start button is always pressed it cancels out other buttons when playing a game. should i just replace the start button or the whole right side?
