Home button ribbon cable separated

Is there anyway to repair a home button ribbon cable on my 5s that was separated from the actual ribbon not the ends? I opened my case too fast and it came apart.

I was thinking maybe soldering the ribbon back together if that might help

You can't solder a ribbon cable back together, you will have to buy a replacement cable.
