Having problem with the on-screen keyboard

The keyboard used to pop up on the bottom of the screen pushing the rest of the screen contents above it.

But it kind of poped out and separated itself from the rest of the screen, and I could move it around.

I haven't been able to figure out how that happened so I haven't been able to solve it.

It's been very uncomfortable because this moving-around keyboard is much smaller, the keys are actually smaller than those on my phone.

I've also tried to research on this issue but cannot word it or phrase it correctly to find the right solution.

Does somebody have any idea on how I can put the on-screen keyboard back to what it used to be?

Hi,

To switch between floating and normal keyboard

Go to Settings.

Tap My device tab.

Scroll down to find Accessibility, then tap it.

Scroll down to find Magnification gestures, then slide the ON/OFF switch to the left to disable this option.

Now, go to a screen or an app where you can enter text (e.g: Messaging app, Email app, Browser app, etc).

Tap and hold the key in the left side of the space bar and then select the floating keyboard icon to switch between normal and floating keyboard.

If you wish to permanently disable the Floating keyboard you need to permanently turn ON Magnification gestures.
