I'm having this problem with my iP5
it's like some dark shadows at the top of screen.
I already changed the display twice, all with the same problem, but these new displays have no problem since i used them in another iP5 and they were OK.
Someone have any clue what this could be?

I've usually noticed these issues, with damage to the lcd? I think?

No damage to the lcd, i tested in another Iphone 5 and there wasnt this issue. =(

I had the same problem and found it was one of the backlight filters on the motherboard

A friend of mine has a very similar issue due to water damage. I believe it has something to do with a damaged connector for the display or corrosion in the logic board.
When/how did it start?
