How to fix mangled charging port?
My charging port is completely gone - any way I can fix the problem with household appliances like paperclips and sewing needles?

I don't think there is a way to fix it by using household appliances, but there are other ways you can fix it.
1.Replace the charging port with a new one.
2.By buying a charging base using it to charge the 3DS.

I can't use any spare charging ports I have and jam it in?
You can't jam it in it will just break it more, but you can carefully unscrew it a remove the broken port and replace it with the new one.
Okay. I've taken apart my 3ds Xl, and all I see is a big hole. There's nothing within the port. This must mean that I have no choice but to buy a new charging port? I will do anything else.
It's my sister's and she gave it to me for repairs. I need it fixed soon.
