Your iPod Touch 2nd Gen's highest supported iOS is 4.2.1, iOS update/support for your device ended with the release of iOS 5 back in June 2011. Sorry.
Apple is also no longer signing iOS 7. The current iOS version is iOS 8 (8.4.1) aside from iOS 9.0 Beta 5/9.0 Public Beta 3 for all supported devices which doesn't include the iPod Touch 2nd Gen. Hope this helps.

you can use whited00r but it both issent official and it didn’t work for me but that’s just my crappy virtual machine
