Any option of getting deleted photos back

I owned an asha 200 phone. Now i sold it to a third party. Now i am afraid that if he will be able to retrieve my deleted personal photos in the phone. Is there any option for that.

I also wanna know if its possible if the photos were stored in my sd card (i hadnt given my sd card to him).
