iPhone 5 no longer powers on or connects after dock replacement.
After replacing the dock of my iPhone, my iPhone 5 can no longer be charged or connected to a computer. It can however, play audio to the headphones and record audio from the microphone, so the cable which connects to the logic board is at least partially working. I have verified that the batter can be charged in another iphone 5. Is there any way I can troubleshoot with a voltmeter to see where the problem is?
I tried replacing this dock with another, and no luck, I have also made sure the cable works as well. I have compared photos of the connector on the logic board itself, and can see no damage, I have some photos here - http://imgur.com/a/Ieqz5
After a little searching, it looks like the IC U2 could be the problem, is there anyway I could verify this?
Thank you for your help.
