Why dont my sound work

I bought my studio 6.0 just over a month ago and the sound just went out. I took the phone back to the carrier store and they did a factory reset on the phone. However even that did not solve the proble. The phone still wont play any sound and the phone itself has never been abused or been wet. I would like to know if I can fix it myself or if I have to mail the phone back to Blu. Thank you
