Speaker's having a cracking sound!
I bought the ASUS X555lj xx130d notebook and then realised that its sound was a little cracky / not normal at high pitch or loud sounds . I first checked out for drivers but nothing happened . This abnormality / cracking sound felt the most when i put the Audio Wizard(pre-installed) in "OFF" mode . I contacted the support got the speakers replaced but still the problem is the same. Please HELP ME IF YOU CAN !

I bought X541U model and it's having the same problem but with the right speaker only. Extremely cracking sound is produced when high pitched audio is played. But only the right speaker has the defect. Do not know what to do.

More often than not you need to replace the speaker, speaker crackle is indicative of a defective part in the whole assembly.
