Help with my email syncing

I cannot figure out why my email is no longing automatically coming to my phone. I feel like I've checked every settled but am obviously missing something!

I have to actually click on the mail icon and refresh the page to see my emails (Hotmail account). Often times when I do this is says I do not have enough storage on my device, yet I know this is not the case.
