broken Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 charger need a substitute help please

well i was in a rush and my Samsung galaxy tab 2 was charging so i yanked it out to quickly and the top was stuck in my tablet i managed to get it out but now its a few weeks later and my tablet is completely dead and know i don't know how to fix it some please help me my parents don't know and they are going to get mad if they find out.so i did some research on YouTube to see if there was a different way to charge it and one video said to strip the black and red wire and to tape on the gold things on the battery but when i tried i couldn't because there was a bunch of wires coming out of my tablet now i really need to charge it cause my dad is asking for my tablet and i keep telling him that its charging when its no i need help ASAP someone please give me tip and anything you can thx
