How do I replace my battery?

My daughters Sero 8 isn't even a year old. It went dead one day, I plugged it in and it showed charging, but then showed exclamation point meaning it wasnt charging and now i cant it to come on or show charging again. How do I get the battery out so i can use the battery from my other daughters working sero 8 to see if its the battery or charger port?
