am having macbook air

suddenly working/ responding slow,fan is

running at high speed .

disk utility ->verify disk permission shows

Warning: SUID file “System/Library/

CoreServices/RemoteManagement/

ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent”

has been modified and will not be repaired.

In activity monitor system usin 85%

when make AHT it shows an error 4SNS/1/

C0000008:THSP--124

by google it this is a temperature sensor

problem

what to do if i want to replace a logic board or

a temperature sensor.

if it so what may be the approximate cost of

repairing it

MacBook Air, iOS 7.0.5, intel i5 processor 4gb

ram

THSP is thunderbolt proximity sensor. I have no clue where this is on your board because you gave no information. 11", 13", who knows?

I am going to guess 2012 13.3" 820-3209 board. Check Q5520, and R5540, and R5541. Most likely a tin whisker between 1 and 2 of Q5520, or blown resistor R5540 or R5541. Check there.

i cant get it.....plz elaborate it......how can i fix it

I asked you to check components on the board. So measure the resistors and look at the transistor. Your next question will be how do I do that, by using a multimeter. Your next question after that will be where do I find them, and that is where I answer "F if I know" because I have no information on your laptop or your motherboard.

So first find the 820 number of your motherboard. It will be 820-3023, 820-3209, 820-3437, etc. Something like that. Then google it with the word schematic to find a schematic or a boardview. Expect to pay about twenty bucks for this. Then use it to locate those components. Last step will be to engage brains to learn how to measure a resistor, and to see if pins 1 and 2 of Q5520 are shorted together.

If this sounds unreasonable in spite of me telling you the exact components to check and how to find them. refurbished Macbook Air from online apple is the right repair here. Wait for it to drop to $719-$750 and buy. http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/sp...

Hi ZZZ, i have the same error code, same issue. My Mac is an A1466 MAcbook Air 13" and my board is 820-3209-A. Please can you tell me where to locate the thunderbolt proximity sensor??? Thanks a lot!

Check Q5520, and R5540, and R5541.
