2 MXM Graphics Card Replacement with PC version
I have the ATI 2600 Pro that needs replacing.
Is it possible to buy the significantly cheaper HP one and swap the Video Bios on this card with the EFI Vbios from the broken card so that the iMac will recognise it as a Mac card and not a PC one?
Are there any other differences that I should be worried about.
I have good SMD soldering skills so changing the ROM chip will not be difficult for me.
