Note 3 Motherboard swapping question

My phone got bad water damage. I opened it up and tried cleaning all the corrosion with contact cleaner and a really soft toothbrush.

The phone turned back on except the battery drains super fast. I have replaced the battery with a new one but still drains fast. I'm assuming there is a short somewhere on the motherboard.

My question is: Can I swap my t-mobile (SM-900T) with an unlocked European motherboard (N9005) and still use it on tmobile?
