Clickwheel or select button
The Ipod works except the clickwheel. Does the select button work if the clickwheel is not installed... If so I could know if the logic board still has proper clickwheelfunctions....

Yes, actually all buttons work if the clickwheel is not installed, since the buttons are on the logic board, and the clickwheel just lays on top of them. When you press a button on the clickwheel, it just transfer's the force to the button on the logic board. The only function the clickwheel serves is to detect scrolling with a finger.

I disconnected it and reconnected. It still doesn't work. And the buttons without clickwheel don't respond either. So it must be the logic board. It functions except for the buttons....
