internal damage to webcam?

I was told my cam needed to be physically reattached from the inside since the one on this lenovo yoga 13 isn't working. It isn't recognizing my camera. Is there any way I can fix this internally myself? Already tried installing the drivers from lenovo's site but my computer says it's already on there but they aren't listed in the device manager. My camera still doesn't work either. Is there any way I can I can fix it on the inside myself? Don't they have software that allows u to do so? That'd be awesome if that were the case.
