Why is my screen frozen?

Sometimes when I am using my phone the screen freezes and becomes unresponsive. I try to cancel out of the app that I'm using or I try to type something but the screen and phone won't respond to my commands.

There are a few things that may be causing this issue:

1.Phone is off:

SOLUTION:You may try to restart the device. Hold down the power button until the device has turned off and wait 2-3 minutes before rebooting.

2. Memory or SIM Card Problems:

SOLUTION: Shutdown the device and remove the memory card and Sim(s) attached to it. If possible, you may want to remove the battery for a few seconds as well. If the problem persist you may need to contact HTC or your service provider.

3.Needs to be restored to normal settings:

SOLUTION: You will need to perform a hard reset. This will wipe your phone and return it to its original condition. In order to do this, hold down the up and down volume buttons as well as the power button all at the same time. This will start the phone in Recovery mode and you will be able to do a Wipe-Factory-Reset from there. Use the volume up/down buttons to navigate and the power button to select.
