The capslock stays on at all times.

turning the laptop off does not help. restarting does not help. turned on the laptop on and with the start menu the capslock light come on also. keep in mind this is almost new and we just started using it today. the problem is that the user name etc. we set is all in lowercase letters. i held the shift button down as i typed log in info. windows opened up then. as you can probably tell, all caps. no drops or misuse, we treat this laptop carefully..
