Why is my computer not getting power?
Power cord is plugged in but no power is getting to the computer. The charging light does not illuminate.

What model G4 are we talking about? First thought is you have a bad power brick. Ralph

Good answers… all it would take to see if it's the charger is to use a multimeter to see if it's getting the proper DC voltage to the plug. If it is… it's like matthewfrey says, probably the DC-In board.

I'm going to go head and assume either an iBook G4 or Powerbook G4 - If you have tried another power adapter, the next likely step is to replace the DC-in Board.
