Damage to WiFi and Bluetooth antennas

While taking off the cracked glass cover, I pushed the plastic pick inside too far while running it around the perimeter of the case and slipped under the black plastic "cover" on the WiFi and Bluetooth antennas located at the bottom corners of the device. Both were torn from the attachment points (screws) on the perimeter. These covers are a thin black plastic sheet with a copper cladding on the reverse side over the top of each antenna. I guess brute force in running the pick around the perimeter of the glass is ill advised. Is this a common issue for rookies when removing the glass? Is this of little or no consequence? Do I need to replace these antennas? Should I just assemble the unit and test it without pulling off the film over the new glass adhesive strips? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

When you wreck something, replace something.

When you are not sure if it is working or not, test it.
